This building is one of the landmarks of Minneapolis. It was essentially alone on the skyline until the construction of several big skyscrapers in the '60s and '70s. It's still very prominent when you're driving into the city on I-35W

Seward Cafe - Get yourself some breakfast! Then, roll over to Pizza Luce (across the street) for some lunch. On the way home, stop at the Seward Co-Op for some fish oil to fight the resulting high cholesterol (note: Seward Cafe has many vegan and veggie options).

The images on Wikimapia come from Google. They don't have a regular update schedule, but you can check the age of a photo by pulling up the area in Google Earth. This photo was taken January 1, 2002.

It wasn't ever torn down, half of it was removed but it is still standing. It's very cool on the inside and provides nice roof views! Just watch out for holes in the floor, most are marked. Also, there are doors that lead to death, so open doors carefully.
